Understanding MCC Counseling Process 2026

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) conducts the counseling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, Deemed Universities, and Central Universities. The process can seem daunting, but it's quite systematic once you understand the steps.

Step 1: Registration

Register on the official MCC portal and pay the counseling fee. Make sure to double-check your category details.

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking

This is the most critical step. Arrange colleges strictly in your order of preference. Do not fill a college you do not intend to join.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

Based on your NEET rank and preferences, MCC will release the seat allotment list. You can choose to upgrade in the next round if you are not satisfied.
